Ariel Kulay Pinoy


I. WHO CAN JOIN

The Ariel Kulay Pinoy Awards will run from July 20 − August 25, 2012. Open to all Filipino Citizens, legally or by birth and residing within Philippine territory, who meets the following criteria:
  • Nominee must be at least 18 years of age and above and is of good moral standing.
  • Nominee must have a uniform in the specific field or industry he/she works in. Students are also welcome to participate as long as he/she has a school uniform.
  • Nominee must have a remarkable contribution and impact to his field of industry, his family and/or his community and must be able to display the following values:
    1. Honesty
    2. Integrity
    3. Leadership
    4. Teamwork
    5. Excellence
    6. Compassionate Service To Others
OTHER GUIDELINES:
  • Nominee must express full consent to be included in the nominations and to provide his/her personal details.
  • Nominee must have authorization from his/her employer and/or school to have their trademarks, images and properties featured in the Ariel Kulay Pinoy Awards website and in P&G advertising and promotional materials.
  • Individuals submitting nominations should be at least 18 years of age and above.
  • At any time, at P&G’s discretion, a nominee may be deemed ineligible for nomination or participation in the program.
  • Employees and immediate family members of P&G, GroupM Mediacom, ABS−CBN Network, their subsidiaries, sponsors of the awards program, as well as advertising and promotional agencies directly involved in the awards program are not eligible to participate or submit nominations.

II. HOW TO NOMINATE

  • All nominations will be done through www.abs-cbnnews.com/arielkulaypinoy
  • A nominee can only be nominated once.
  • To nominate, go to the NOMINATE tab and fill out the NOMINATION FORM:
      1. Register your information:

        5. Occupation

        8. Landline Number
        9. How are you related to the nominee?
      2. Register your nominee's information

      3. Answer the following questions:
        1. What is the profession of the person you are nominating?
        2. How has the colors of the nominee's uniform enabled him/her to excel in his field of work and give the best to his community and/or family? (200 words maximum)
        3. What are the significant contributions that the nominee has made to his/her field of work, community, and/or family? (200 words maximum)
        4. In no more than 140 characters (including spaces), state why your nominee deserves this award.
      4. Upload your nominee's photo wearing his/her colors with pride. (Nominee wearing his/her uniform). Photo should be in JPEG format and should not be more than 500 KB.
      5. Click SUBMIT.
  • Nominations must be submitted on behalf of another person. No self-nominations will be accepted.
  • A participant can only nominate a nominee once but he/she can nominate multiple nominees.
  • Nominations must be for an individual person only. No group nominations will be accepted.
  • Nominations must be in English, Filipino, or Taglish only.
  • Nominations must be received not later than 11:59 PM of August 25, 2012
  • All nominations will be screened for content by the website administrator. Any photo with offensive or sexual content will automatically be disqualified. Any entry, which the screeners hold to be inappropriate, offensive to national or religious sentiments or to public taste, will be disqualified.
  • All nominations become property of P&G. P&G, therefore, has the right to edit the nominations as it sees fit for use in publication or promotion. Sponsors have the right to use all nominations for purpose of advertising and publicizing for the awards program, in perpetuity.

III. SELECTION OF THE GRAND WINNER

  • Review Panel will select one Grand Winner out of all the nominees. 10 potential finalists and an alternate from all the nominations provided.
  • The Grand Winner will be judged on the basis of the following criteria:
    1. WEARS HIS UNIFORM WITH PRIDE − 35%
      1. The colors of the nominee's uniform helps him/her fulfill his/her duties well
      2. Nominee wears his uniform proudly; uniform looks clean and is in good condition (colors are not faded)
    2. HAS MADE A POSITIVE IMPACT, WHETHER BIG OR SMALL, IN HIS/HER COMMUNITY AND/OR FIELD OF INDUSTRY − 35%
      1. Has contributed to the improvement of his/her community's welfare (ex. ensures cleanliness of surroundings, helps promote safety, etc.)
      2. Has extended help to those in need, especially during times of crisis (i.e. calamity/natural disasters, war, etc.)
      3. Has helped alleviate the lives of fellowmen (provided care for the sick/helped save a life)
    3. SERVES AS AN INSPIRATION TO OTHERS − 20%
      1. Is proud of his/her job
      2. Fulfills his/her duties well and goes beyond and above what is expected of him/her
      3. Fosters the value of honesty, integrity, leadership and teamwork
    4. OVERALL IMPACT − 10%

    6. TOTAL 100%
  • Selection of the Ariel Kulay Pinoy Grand Winner will be done in the presence of a DTI Representative on August 28, 2012 at the P&G Office, 21F Ayala Office Tower, Ayala Avenue, Makati City at 12NN.
  • There will be four (4) judges forming the Review Panel:
    1. Jenina Santos, Ariel MDO ABM, P&G
    2. Melvin Manuel, Assistant Country Media Manager, P&G
    3. Kookie Buhain, Connections Manager, MediaCom
    4. Geia Macatangay, Digital Manager, Mediacom
  • The Ariel Kulay Pinoy Grand Winner will be announced on the website on August 29, 2012
  • Decisions of panel will be final and binding.

IV. PRIVACY

Nominees may be contacted to provide additional information and/or verification. P&G reserves the right to request and require additional information (their story, their contribution to the community, photos of them in their uniform) for the nominees to be considered.

V. GRAND WINNER: Ariel Kulay Pinoy Awardee

  • The Grand Winner will be notified through registered mail and a phone call from a MediaCom representative.
  • The Grand Winner may be featured in TV plugs and TV programs. These features will also be posted on various digital platforms. The Grand winner may also be invite to attend an Awards Ceremony.
    1. The Grand Winner must be available from August 30 − September 8, 2012 for possible TV guestings and a shoot for a TV plug and/or attendance in an Awarding Ceremony.
    2. The Grand Winner shall be responsible for obtaining all proper documentation and permission to leave prior to travel.
    3. Transport and Accommodation of the Grand Winner to and from the duration of the shoot and/or TV guestings will be provided by P&G. This will include Van Pickup, Plane Fares to Manila, or Hotel Stay (if from out of town) as needed.
    4. A MediaCom representative will contact the Grand Winner on the final date/s and venue of the TV plug shoot and/or TV guestings.

VI. PRIZES OF THE GRAND WINNER

  • The Grand Winner will win Php 500,000 and one year supply of Ariel products (inclusive of Color & Style 725g and Stainlift 725g). P&G will handle the Grand Winner's cash prize tax.
  • Prizes are non-transferrable. Ariel products are not convertible to cash.

VII. TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

  • By joining the contest, each nominee grants Procter and Gamble, its agencies, successors, licensees and assigns, the irrevocable right, but not the obligation, with or without his/her knowledge, to use the entries or any portion thereof in any and all media, whether known or hereafter devised, including without limitation, television and publishing, and in connection with the advertising, sales, promotion, marketing, merchandising, distribution, publicizing and all other types of exploitation of the contest or the website or any part thereof, or in any manner whatsoever, which use shall not entitle each or all nominees to receive any compensation whatsoever in addition to the prize awarded.
  • All users will be duly acknowledged for their entries but Procter and Gamble and its agencies will have the rights to all submitted entries in the contest.
  • All users shall hold Procter and Gamble free and harmless from any liability in case an entry is found to have infringed upon any a third party's rights, including copyright, publication right, or any other intellectual property or proprietary right.
  • Prizes are non-transferable or exchangeable.
  • The decision of the contest organizers, with the concurrence of DTI, is final and no correspondence will be entertained.
  • Participants shall agree that they are fully and wholly responsible for the entry/entries that they submitted to the contest organizers shall not be held liable in any way for any entries to the full extent permitted by law. Participants warrant and agree that:
    1. They will not submit any entry that is unlawful or fraudulent, or that is in breach of any intellectual property, privacy, publicity or other rights, defamatory, obscene, derogatory, pornographic, sexually inappropriate, violent, abusive, harassing, threatening, objectionable with respect to race, religion, origin or gender, not suitable for children aged under 15, or otherwise unsuitable for publication;
    2. They will obtain prior consent from any person or property that appears in their entry;
    3. They will obtain full prior consent from any person who has jointly created or has any rights in the entry, to the uses and terms herein;
    4. Their entry was not previously submitted to any contest or promotion;
    5. Their entry shall not contain viruses or cause injury or harm to any person or entity; and
    6. They will comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including without limitation, those governing copyright, content, defamation, privacy, publicity and the access or use of others' computer or communication systems.
  • Entries should not contain any of the following:
    1. Obscene, pornographic, or sexually-explicit content or information
    2. Content that is considered offensive to the users, such as those which encourage the commission of an illegal, immoral or threatening activity, promote harassment, racism, hatred or discrimination against any group or individual, or provide information which you know are false, misleading, or harmful to any group or individual
    3. Content which show strong support or opposition to any political or religious group or person.
    4. Content which are defamatory or libelous in character or those which violate the privacy of any group or individual
    5. Content, which infringe upon the rights of any third party, including copyright, publication right, or any other intellectual property or proprietary right, or those, which promote the infringement of any party's intellectual property rights.
  • Participants consent to the contest organizers using their names, likenesses, images and/or voices (including photographs, films, and/or recordings of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome).
  • Any costs incurred during the contest period that are associated with the contest are the participants' responsibilities.
