As SM Supermalls recently opened its first ever shopping mall in the Cagayan Region, SM Lifestyle Entertainment, Inc. (SMLEI) has recently unveiled the first SM Cinema in the Cagayan Region and the 48th in the country.
With the opening of the SM City Cauayan in Isabela, Filipinos from the Cagayan Valley may now have the SM Cinema experience at first hand. Being the largest theatre network in the country, SM Cinema holds a promise of giving movie-goers a one-of-a-kind cinematic experience every time they see a movie. Movie enthusiasts from the region now have the facility to watch high quality movies that the Digital Cinemas that the SM Supermalls has to offer.

SM Cinema is the largest film exhibitor in the Philippines with more than 250 screens in almost 50 SM Supermalls across the nation. It is best known for its digital theatres, which delivers the ultimate 3D experience; Director’s Club cinemas, the cinema with the VIP treatment; and the IMAX theatre, specifically designed to deliver the world’s most immersive movie experience.
Aside from having entertainment facilities, a green and eco-friendly design was also implemented around the mall. SM Cauayan is the first non-premier SM Supermall to offer al-fresco or open air malling. Ceiling fans are used to ventilate the arcaded walkways and storefront hallways instead of the conventional use of air conditioners.
